I've bowhunted the eastern portion of Sierras quite a few timesand have been fairly successful. I won't give any honey holes away, but I can put you in touch with a few people that will tell you where to begin scouting. Buy some maps of the Bridgeport, Lee Vining, and Bishop area and call the boys at Kens Sporting Goods in Bridgeport. They will steer you in some general areas. From there, make a quick scouting trip on a long weekend and bring a pair of good optics. You'll see some deer. Good luck.
