i would have to shoot the typical because i agree with everyone else that is a huge deer granted that seeing a non-typical that goes 250 is also huge and in most cases rare to see but not as rare as a typical 4x4 that goes 220! Now if i cam on them fighting eachother and they were locked togather that would be diffreent story

I would take the non typical for sure. Why? Cause If there were two bucks that size and the typical being that big their must not be many hunters in the area and the following year go back and hope the typical would be in the area then hopefully he is bigger to take the world record and have two great bucks in two years. Let him grow to take.

Well, let's see.......6" from the world record or over 100" from the world record.....I'd arrow the typical for sure!

I too am a sucker for nontypicals, but for a buck that size the typical would get shot and the nontypical would live another day...or I might just crap my pants and not shoot either.

In Utah, there has never been a 220 typical taken. I think the state record is 217".
![confused (???)](./images/smilies/confused1.gif)
but there has been many nons over 250". I'd take the typical.
There's always next year

Typical bucks are just gorgeous, but I haven't got a nice nontypical in my sights yet, so I might have to drop him.
