I recently moved back to Utah, and will be hunting with a bow. I live in West Jordan and was wondering if anyone has any tips where a good place to go hunting for deer and elk would be that's within 1-2 hours drive of here. Just to get steered into the general right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I'd say if you are going to archery hunt, hunt just across the valley from where you live....above Draper. May not be the best for elk, but for big bucks.....WOW!!

I second trying the mnts. east of Salt Lake. Any of the upper basins and ridgetops hold real good bucks. It's just getting up to them thats a real challenge. Good luck.
