To answer some of the other posts:

My husband said it wouldn't be too profitable to buy a lotto ticket or head to Vegas because I had already used up every ounce of luck that we may have had coming to us!!! 4c

On the type of buck, I want a non-typical. My husband thinks the other way, but I want one that is unique.

While scouting on the Henrys, we ran into a game warden that told us about the big buck that was poached and I can't believe anyone would dare poach one in that area. (???) There was alot of traffic around there!

Good luck to all of you in the upcoming draws. I have already put in for points only (I don't want any other hunts getting in the way of this one!). -%

I'd go for a non-typical myself also, but that's just my preference.

It really depends on what the buck looks like. ive seen some pretty ugly typs and some pretty ugly non typs. just depends on the deer.

Here is the kind of buck that she wants, and the Henry's are the place to get one. Cograds on the tag and GOOD LUCK on the hunt.

Hey Ready, go to huntinfool.com and check out the henry's buck on the cover of their free Jan. issue.
It was also a woman hunter.

Dead I, No that ain't me. I'm not a pretty lady,
I'm an old bald fat guy.
Huntin fool sent me a copy of that magazine and after reading through it and learning of their membership perks I joined up.
One of the things I really like about it is when you draw a special tag they will send you a list of other members who have had that tag in the past and then you can contact them and get some tips on where to scout ect. There isn't anything much better than some advice from someone who has been there and done that.
Lots of good info on applying in other states too. But it is a little pricey.
