Poaching near Enterprise

Post by Elko » Sun Dec 07, 2008 10:51 pm

What a joke. I live in Enterprise and in the last several weeks there have been at least 4 bucks poached. They were all just shot and left. One near Newcastle was around 32" wide. I was talking to the local marshall who says they think that whoever is doing it is from St. George or surrounding area. If anybody hears anything, please turn them in.

It's a dang shame we can't treat them the same way they treat poachers in Africa!

I recommend a "Poacher License"!!! Just think about it. For an additional $0.25 per big game permint you would be able to take an unlimited number of poachers. The results would be:

1. Fewer idots (poachers).
2. More deer/elk etc.
3. More revenue for the state.

A true win/win scenario (unless you happen to be a poacher of course).

Do you think we can get it passed?
A 'Veteran' whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

Ive heard that they caught the kid that was poaching those deer and he ended up poaching 7 deer.
INSANITY! Is doing the same thing over & over again and expecting a different result!

Well thats good if they caught him and that's stupid to just go a poach for nothing to just leave him there, usually they will go for horns or meat at the least but i hope they caught him and got him away from the hunting areas
