nothing wrong with a upper 170 buck good luck finding something better.

if It walks in front of you and you don't shoot it you will probably tag a smaller buck or eat tag soup.

Looks to be about a low 160's type buck.......but may have a cheater? Not a bad buck.......but I saw a few better over the 4th of July weekend in that unit. It all depends on what YOU want. If you'd be happy with him, go for it. He's probably 2 years from his prime, IMO.

He is pretty neat, I think later on in the hunt I'd try for him, but I saw better up there this weekend.

I agree with JBird, I was up there on Thursday and seen two way better bucks than that, but the trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Good luck on your hunt.

I would say that if that is the best buck you have seen in the area your scouting than you had better let the air out of him, but if your seeing better bucks than I would pass, at least for the first few days of the hunt. Also would depend on how many days your going to be able to put into hunting.
