First Muley Buck

Post by serickson » Mon Sep 07, 2009 9:39 pm

This is my first Muley buck. Im proud to say I took it with my bow at 20 yrds also. I'm in northern Alberta and since I didn't get a draw I only had a few weeks to try and get one so this guy will have to do for this year. One shot right behind the shoulder blade. It only made it about another 50 yards and fell over. Very exciting.

Thanks everyone for all the congrats on it. I'm looking forward to going elk hunting with my bow this weekend and I got the under-subscribed draw for 3 mule does so i'll try and get them with my bow also. Any suggestions on hunting mulies with a bow up north here would be great.

I was truly amaze of what have you were showing within this post!
It seem to give an idea to me on how to be fully interested of hunting. As I have seem the outcome of your hunting activity, it really makes me interested to get involve into great hunting trips using my new crossbow.

I would love it, for sure!
