Glad to hear that you had a great time.

And congrats on an awesome buck.

@NotEnufTags - We ended up deeep in that steep canyon. It would have been great to see you again on that trip though. Yes, he measured about 50" of mass, and that's my favorite thing on a muley.

I'll post more about the trip when I can find the time.

@DeadI - I wish I had photo or video of this guy on the hoof. He was in a spot that no one would have really thought to look. Especial when there were 45 bucks UP hill and all around from where he was. I just didn't expect to find a big buck where he was. Luckily I had a really experienced friend along (Greg) with me with a great spotting scope. I don't know that I would have found this on my own. He was basically over a rise, and downhill from the road. You could not really see him from the road, and a lot of hunters didn't leave the road down there.

IF anyone has pics or video of him on the hoof I would pay $10 for it :)

Here is a couple field photos.

There were so many special things about this hunt that it's hard to put them all down. One of the best things for sure though is the fact that I took my kids. They hunted hard and sat for four hours at a time on a freezing windy ridge without complaining. Such a great feeling to pass hunting on to them.
