We got there 1.5 days early and it was very windy and cold. Didn't see much and we were worried that the deer might have moved out. Wind finally stopped during the night before opening morning and deer started to come out of the timber. My buddy was able to sneek out on a cliff above his buck and take it opening morning. I took mine the next day after a long stalk and waiting above the buck for 3 hrs until he finally got up and stepped into an opening.

Sometimes things just work out.
