6 year wait
I got my tag for late season on Ft Carson Co. I had to have 6 points in order to get it.
The season is rather long (thank the hunting gods). It starts Oct1 an goes through 31 Jan.

A 'Veteran' whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'
Sorry boys, I gotcha all beat... after only 1 pref point I got a private land muley tags for 4th season during the rut in Craig, CO.... they are so distracted by the rut you could just about throw a saddle on them. We've been watching them for 3 years thinking we'd never draw and sure enough we drew as a group when last year had 17% success. I am amazed and sleepless already.
That being said they are probably going to taste about as good as an old a pair of shoes.
