Heck of a rack. Not that it matters, but I believe to that it's a pick up rack.
No stain, Looks like the hide fell off the skull, not knife cut, and the first velvet to fall/wear of antlers is on the tip, normally.

What a buck!!! I was gonna say the same thing as Abert & WayneDevore but they beat me to it - Either way I would be STOKED to have somethin like that in the garage!! Thanks for showing us that

looks like the buck died of old age. the skull look old and sun dried, but i might be

Sweey looking deer. I hunted for antelope out east yesterday and the landowner had some mounts in his house of some bucks that were kileed out there....no idea they got that bog out east.
