I've had harder times getting a deer (or elk) out. Luckly the property is not far from my folks, so I went by their house and borrowed a 4-wheeler. Drove right to the buck ( it was rough but not impassable), backed down into a nearby wash, then dragged, pulled and wallered the buck onto the back (yep I was by myself), strapped him down with bungee cords and ratchet straps and headed to the house. I only had to reload once

. The best part is that my folks also have alot of equipment so I had the aid of a backhoe to skin and quarter-very handy
