Nice buck Contractor,
I'm sure that you're now hopelessly hooked on muleys and can officially join ranks with the rest of us addicts. Congrats and nice pic too.---shooter

Thanks, Shooter. I had a blast on the hunt, and I feel extremely lucky to find a buck like this on my first muley hunt on an over the counter tag.

We had never been on the ground to scout, so we had to work hard for several days before we were able to find a pocket with some bucks about 3 miles deep. I spotted him at about a mile with 4 smaller bucks getting a drink from a water hole just before dark. The next morning I worked my way back onto the ridge and spotted them feeding right away. I was able to work into about 300yds without them picking me up, and then all I had to do was make the shot.

I am having a European skull mount done on him. he wasn't real wide, and i thought a skull mount would look nice.

The forum turned me onto my Vortex Skyline spotter and high country tripod, it is a great set up. I spent alot of time behind it and my Leupold Mojave 10x42s, so thanks again to everyone for the goldmine of information I found here.
