Here's a few photographs I took of some rutting mule deer over the Thanksgiving weekend. A couple really nice bucks for the Golden State.

It was "fight night" on Thanksgiving eve:

Now that's what I'm talking about Roy. Sweetness, those are some great shots of some DANDY bucks.

How long that fight last, that's something I've yet to see and always hope to.

They actually got locked-up for about 20 minutes. Luckily they were able to untangle themselves before both expired. They were both exhausted and the big non-typical was bleeding from the mouth. It was a fight like I've never seen in the wild.
