Thousand lakes rifle deer tag

Post by UvUBowhunter » Sat Jul 07, 2012 3:28 pm

I drew a rifle deer tag for the thousand lakes plateau unit. I don't really know anything about this unit except that it was recently changed from a limited entry unit. I am planning to go down in a couple weeks to look around. If anyone has any suggestions on areas down there to look at that would be awesome. Thanks for any help!

There are several lakes on Thousand Lakes itself. Forsyth and Mill Meadow are a couple of others close by..

okay, cool thanks.

And also brennan when you say guyser do you mean geyser peak? I was looking and forsyth reservoir is just out of the boundary. Looks like the boundary is that SR 72 road.

ya thats what i mean and yes 72 is the boundry line but that is a good mark point plus an awesome fishery for tiger trout and perch lately, mill meadows has some goo trout fishing but not much size. A few years ago a fire started out by geyser and i have always seen good bucks there before.
