Thousand lakes rifle deer tag
I drew a rifle deer tag for the thousand lakes plateau unit. I don't really know anything about this unit except that it was recently changed from a limited entry unit. I am planning to go down in a couple weeks to look around. If anyone has any suggestions on areas down there to look at that would be awesome. Thanks for any help!

That's another thing i was gonna ask, what good lakes are down there that i should stop and fish at? Like i said i have never been down there so i don't know anything about this area yet. Thanks for all the help guys!
Re: Thousand lakes rifle deer tag
There are several lakes on Thousand Lakes itself. Forsyth and Mill Meadow are a couple of others close by..

okay, cool thanks.
And also brennan when you say guyser do you mean geyser peak? I was looking and forsyth reservoir is just out of the boundary. Looks like the boundary is that SR 72 road.

ya thats what i mean and yes 72 is the boundry line but that is a good mark point plus an awesome fishery for tiger trout and perch lately, mill meadows has some goo trout fishing but not much size. A few years ago a fire started out by geyser and i have always seen good bucks there before.
