Cemetery Buck?

Post by ryanatfulldraw » Thu Dec 13, 2012 11:31 pm

I have been watching the cemetery buck all summer but the last four times I have stopped at the cemetery he is no where to be found. Has any one heard anything about his current location. I figured it was only a matter of time before someone decided to poach him but would be surprised if info about that has not surfaced yet if that where the case.

He was gone through the rut last year and showed back up in January. We'll have to see if he dodged arrows again this year.

That is what I was thinking but surprised he would leave his sanctuary.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll take my video camera to work with me tomorrow and stop by there.

I had some time yesterday and made it out to the cemetery. The buck is back. I did a quick score job on him and came up with a main frame of 185-190" with 20" of extras. He doesn't look as impressive now that he's rubbed off his velvet but hey, he's still a 200"+ buck and that's freaking huge. Can't wait to see what next year brings.

I agree he looked much better in velvet. He also looked allot more interesting last year when he had a split beam. Still a nice buck for the front. Anyone after his sheds even though the cemetery owner clearly wants them for himself? Noticed several signs and almost all of the rules on the sign are related to the deer and or shed hunting.
