Newbie looking at 75 and 43
Hello,
My name is Adam, I am looking for some input, planning a DIY mule deer hunt for 2014. Seems I stand a chance drawing 43 or 75 with no points or units close by.
I am from the Midwest and want to do some wilderness hunting, I have successfully bowhunter hunted public land here all my life in kansas,Missouri and iowa. I am looking fora little help on these units, deer wise. I have read about everything I can find one them, but was hoping a seasoned mountain hunter would give me a few tips.
I plan on buying the gear slowly between now and next year, I was looking at the 1st 14 days of the season. I am currently training for my 1st 50 mile trail running in September. So I hope to use my body as a part of my arsenal, which has proven to be a true assets even here in Missouri.
