I took my wife and grown kids up camping over the long Thanksgiving weekend up to the Eastern Sierras to enjoy the brisk outdoors and photograph some deer. I was a bit disappointed in the overall deer numbers and the quality of the bucks seen this year......especially with the amount of snow present. Having said that, I did get photographs on one really cool non-typical buck with 3 total drop tines and a lot of mass. Hope you enjoy.

Some other bucks I photographed that had less than desirable genetics.

Ha.....you got that right. Nope, we towed the trailer up there and lived a bit more comfy in the elements.

Great pics BOHNTR, if I'm not mistaken I believe I saw pics of your heavy dropper buck dead just recently. Is that true do you know?

Brett:

Yup, he was anchored opening morning on the late season hunt. As photogenic as he was along with where he was made it inevitable.
