Sweet bucks! I love that 3x4. Every year I start planning a trip down that way but it never seems to work out. Hopefully this next January.

Re: Back from Arizona Archery Hunt (pics)
I am new to archery (as an adult anyway) and new ish to AZ...I've hunted this year early bow and saw more deer than in the previous 5 years combined since living here. A few shooters however, all from my truck. ..I've also spent a combined 20 hrs this year walking, glassing, trying the spot and stalk with no luck. I tease my "road hunting" buddies and tell them they're not going to get anything until they get out of or off of the vehicle and hunt but it seams that's the only way I see any deer...I grew up hunting in Wyoming and Montana where mature bucks are numerous and can usually be taken with a mediocre effort, I realize I'm in a different place now with more pressure, less deer, and less alfalfa fields.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
PS- as hunters I feel like it is our responsibility to control predators as well. I've seen a lot of song dogs and lions...I'll do my part to make sure I don't see as many in the future
Thanks
