well i sorta forgot bout ruger lol sorry bout that just thought of the companies off the top of my head but my first gun i got was my grandpas 32 special lever action which is a winchester an i love that gun so much but its an open sited an good for packin on a horse but i needed something with a little more knock down power so my dad bought me a savage 30-06 for grad and i also like that gun but if i had to choose it would be my trusty 32 of course

i actually hunt with a old pre 1964 270 weatherby. she is a kick a#$ rifle but the rifling is starting to wear out. so this year i purchased a brand new .7mm rum. i can't wait to try her out on a big ole' wyoming muley this year.

Guest, first off, welcome to the site. If you would, join up and get yourself a login password and name. We could use all the new blood we can get here.
As for the type of rifle that's best for Mulies, I also have all three calibers you mentioned but pretty much stick with my trusty .270. However, all three are more than adequate...it's just a matter of hitting the deer in the right spot (And finding them first!). If your a good marksman, you shouldn't have any problems with any of those calibers.
