10/22 clip question

I have a ruger 10/22 that i would like to get some 25 rnd buttler creek banana clips for, just wondering if the hot lip clips with the plastic lips are ok. Or should I spend the extra and get the one with steel lips. Also is the speed loader worth getting. Are they very durable. They look a little week.

DeadI, Overtime the hotlips will wear down before the steel lips and then you may have some feeding problems, if you are just looking for something for "now" then it should work fine for a quite awhile, but it willwear down after a time.
The speed loader may not be real "speedy", but it can save your finger tips. The Butler Creek one is probably the one to go with.

I have 4 of them myself, they are about a year old and have several thousand rounds through them- no worries yet !

go with the cheeper one. i have three of them witch ive had for two or three years and i have never had any problem

Don't they make a thirty round clip? I've still got to get my peep sights installed on mine. Have had the sights for about 10 years now...

I have several of the plastic ones and they are still working just fine after about 5 years. Now that they are being made again they are fairly cheap to replace.

A 50!!

Where in the world can i get one of these. Can you hook to 50s together and have 100 (50 then flip over and 50 more like the 25)
