Hi im not to sure of this question if its stupid or not but i know dogs and cats are color blind are deer as well?

Hey mule man~

That is a great question. I honestly don't know, but my GUESS, would be that they are. Then again, where would the proof be on it? I think that it is all guessing when it comes to that. Welcome to the site! There are plenty of knowledgeble folks on here, and plenty of opinions too! :lol: But we are always glad to have new people on so again, welcome aboard and sorry I can't help much with the question!

Mule Man,

Hey, thanks for joining the board. Good to have you around.
I believe mule deer see at a lower resolution than humans. Thus the reason they see better at night and are mainly a nocturnal animal.
Thus, yes they are believed to be color blind. This is my understanding any rate.
