I should have posted this earlier.

If you drew a Idaho controlled hunt tag, don't forget to get them today 7/31/07! This is the last day you can get them or else they go into the second chance drawing. I picked mine up yesterday.

Good post!

I bought mine two weeks ago. For some reason they tried to charge me for an out of state (non-resident) tag even though I have lived here my whole life!

The difference was about $200 so make sure you watch those tricky Fish and Game people!

Hey 9er,
Sorry about the late reply, I forgot to check this thread.

My 15 year old son and I drew Cow tags for unit 39. We had the tag last year and saw lots of elk but couldn't quit close the deal. Looking forward to spending some time in the woods with my son. We always have a great time weather we harvest something or not.

How about you? Did you draw anything?

I drew the unit 42 antelope tag. Looks like OTC deer and elk again this year...

i just bought my non-res elk tag for weiser units, gonna be a blast! i might try and do a deer hunt also later

2nd chance for controlled tags that were not picked up by 8/1 are going on until the 15th of Aug. It amazes me how many tags are not purchased after they are drawn.
I am going to try again for the same bull tag.
