Yes this is the buck I took in unit 41 in 05. The editors of the Idaho Statesman liked the photo so much, that they made it the cover of the annual Big Game issue last year. (my 15 minutes of fame). Now if I can ever draw another tag I'd like to go after his grampa. He grosses out at around 180. By far the biggest buck I have taken! He would have been a 6X9 but broke off a point on his left side.

I am going to attempt to find his grandpa this season in the unit over (unit 40). I hope to be as lucky as you to find a buck with such character.
