Here is a buck that made through the hunt but not the rut My boyfriend found it on his way to work on the side of the road.

Yea, that's too bad. I would rather he be taken by some lucky hunter than to end his life in some ditch on the side of the road.

Dang. Another nice buck that met his maker on the front grill of a passing rig.
They tend to get a little bit stupid during the rut and will chase does wherever they need...and sometimes that means the road I guess.
Too bad.
