Got Wyoming deer points to use any suggestions on units or r

Post by Montnanamuleycrazy » Sat Dec 08, 2007 9:48 pm

have been buying the Wyoming points and want to use them next year...besides G and H are there any regions or units that produce good bucks and have a decent buck to doe ratio....not looking for the next record book deer just a good 170 class.....I have hunted up on the divide before huge country with lots of deer most were small 2-3 points but a few brusiers. We were elk hunting at the time in unit 94/95 by mosquito lakes above the Greeen River

SHHHHHHHHH!!!!! 101, 102 is a secret!!!
JK, we hunted 101 in 2005, and got a 170 class buck, but that was the first buck we'd even SEEN after 11 days! I've heard 102 has more bucks, but not as many are as impressive. Didn't they cut back the number of tags their putting out for those units this year?

Cooper i think i know who you are didn't you hang out with Dustin in Rock Springs? Yeah your right 101 and 102 are great areas but 102 seems to have the numbers for deer. I had drawn 102 and 101 but if i had to choose i would go with 102 any day because the quality of bucks that i had seen.

Yep! That's us! Harlan & Ann. Dustin is one of our best friends, and knows the areas well.
P.S. Who are you?

Right on.

Hopefully we will draw this year....there's a good chance. It's a HARD hunt.

Dustin's wife drew it and shot a buck too. Coincidentally, it was one I shot at and tracked FOREVER. They found my bullet in his back!
