Hey all, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I was out with the wife and kids this past weekend and came across a few groups of deer. My wife humored me and let me fulfill my deer fix by going after each group we found. I played with my new telephoto lens and got some good shots I thought I would share with this site. I had fun stalking up on them and getting some great photos. Too bad these guys come out of hiding after the hunt is over. If left alone for a couple of years though, some of these could end up being some real bruisers.

This one was my favorite. He doesn't have a ton of width, but I love the height and symmetry.

That looks like fun! good job with the camera. Right! those bucks will be real bruisers next year.
