New years resolution

Post by ridgetop » Sat Dec 20, 2008 11:09 pm

I have two things hunting wise. First, I hope to get into alot better shape. Secondly, I am going to get alot more video footage of some of the good bucks we see and more of the personal experiences with the people I hunt with, so we can put together a fun hunting video to look back on in future years. Oh, I guess third would be to get my first 30" wide or 180" + buck. lol

Well this is easy - I know this is a hunting mentality but it's my 1 and only new years resolution for '09 out of everything - to hunt more than I did in 2008!

My first two are identical to yours but I have two more to add.

#3 Shoot my first Pope & Young animal.
#4 Help my friends get their first archery bulls.

1) I want to get into bow hunting. ( I really need to work on sitting still!)
2) I want to hunt even harder than '08. Harvest many monsters
3) Get into better shape so I can out run the guys when a bear is chasing us.. :)
4) My passion is to learn taxidermy. I cant stand to sit in front of a computer for 9 hours a day any longer.

I would like to say that one of mine is to get my good friends a bow kill bull too,, only problem is I'm still trying to convince them that they have to go quite a few miles in for a few days to do it. I'm trying to break them of the hole hotel habit thing "$".

Mine is strictly to get in better shape. I think most the rest would fall into place if I could hike farther than a mile without stopping for a few days to catch my breath. Darn desk job.

Same here. So far so good, I've dropped 10lbs in 2 weeks.
