What are you applying for next year??

Post by Ultrahunter » Mon Dec 26, 2005 8:38 pm

OK boys,

2005 is all but over, time to start thinking about what to put in for next year. Anybody have any sweet dream hunts they are putting in for?? As for me I will be putting in for some more preference points in Oregon (still waiting for those pesky Trout Creek Mountains), I will also join the thousands for that precious unit 45 late season tag in Idaho.

Well, I'll be chasing rutting desert mule deer with my bow next week for about 14 days straight. But when I get back I'll be putting in for the usual:

AZ-archery elk, sheep, archery deer
CA-Archery tule elk, sheep, archery antelope, archery deer
CO-archery deer (PP & unit)
NM-archery deer (2B)
OR-archery deer (Hart Mtn)
UT-archery deer (pauns.)

Good luck to all the rest of you.....

S.D. rifle and archery elk
S.D. archery deer
S.D. black hills deer
S.D. prairie deer
S.D. mountain goat
S.D. mountain lion if they have a season had one this year to see how it would go.
and maybe if I can get enough info might try Idaho for mule deer or elk.

Hopefully I will be able to slip back up to Montana on a big game
combo tag. As for the home front, the usuall NE deer tags and maybe
a seasons choice tag for close to home. Good luck to all in their
drawings etc.

Only hunting in Utah this year.

Putting in for P.L.E. Deer and O.I.L Bison. [-o<

Will also get in on the general season Elk and Deer if I don't get the other tag.
Live to hunt, hunt to live.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell
the difference.

I have bonus points for MT big game combination and antelope, so I'll try for that.

WY deer and antelope, undecided where? Looking at all information I can get.

Dang! I am jealous! Being in the Navy I have limited hunting time and funds so I will be putting in for elk and deer in Colorado only. Maybe when I retire I'll be able to hunt some other states. Good luck all on your draws.
