2011 muley season

Well. 2011 Texas Muley season is over and year #11 in the quest for Mule deer is in the books and I am still muleyless. Lol. I hunted three days saw about 80 Mule deer and one shooter. I chased after him all day and never got a shot so.... guess there always next year. I did shoot a really nice Aoudad though. I'll post a story about the Aoudad soon as I can. I could have shot several young fork horn Muleys but I would rather let them grow up and be the monsters of tomorrow than just kill one to say I did. Had a great year though. Killed a scimitar oryx, 3 whitetail, 2 pigs, and an Aoudad so far this year. Now its time to start shootin birds and I have a goose and pheasant hunt planned for next week. Can't complain I have been very blessed this year but it sure would have been nice to break the curse. Hope everyone's season is going well.
