To say that I started early, maybe an understatement. This picture was taken by my mother when I was about 5 in Yellow Knife, Idaho, primitive area. As you can see, Mom dad and myself "tented" it, grub boxes and sleeping bags. What you don't see in the picture is Dad out-of-frame holding the salmon. By the way, that was 54yrs ago.

That started a life long love of not only fishing, but boating as well. I also tried to start my boys early. That is our boat on Flaming Gorge, the next is my oldest boys first stripper and my youngest "fishing" on Lake Powell. These are very fond memories.
