I wonder where the heck the Peacock came from? Escape from someone's property I would guess!

It has the loudest K-E-W-LLLP type cry I've every herd. The first time I heard the sound, couldn't imagine? checked it out, a Peacock. I could only get within about 100 yards.

They make very good watch dogs. If something comes close you will hear them. There are quite a few farmers that keep in around the house just for that reason.
I have seen them hang out with wild turkies too.

we used to raise them and they would disapere for days. we finaly figured that they was going to find a mate or got scared by something and took of! but they always came back.
