Prairie Dogs?

Post by MuleyMadness » Sun Jul 08, 2007 8:17 am

You guys have Prairie Dogs in your area? Just north of where I live we have TONS of them, yet they are on the Endangered Species List (???)

Kind of a funny interesting read if you're bored. :)

Hmmm??? Back in highschool, (no more than just a few years ago, ahem) the ranchers absolutely loved for us to go out and shoot a few dogs here and there. Even got paid to poison them one summer working for my neighbor. Don't know what kind they were, other than small and quick as lightning.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Every year the antis come to the Game and Fish Commission "hunt-set" meeting to try to close down the unrestricted prairie dog shooting in Arizona. So far, the Commission listens to them, then denies them. They are starting to cave in on limiting lion hunting and other predators, so the spineless ones will likely cave in before long on prairie dogs too....
