Washington/Idaho Steelhead

A pic of the Steelhead my brother caught this last weekend. I was SUPPOSED to go with him but got stuck at work...!
They were caught near the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers.

I'll be doing a little Steelhead fishing next week in between hunting trips. If I don't get my Muley this year at least I'll get some great tasting fish out of it!

That's the one species I didn't catch when I lived up there, that and sockeye. I did see a buddy catch one, though, so I guess that's better than nothing!

Great looking fish, sure do miss that country.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.
