How many of you on this site are vets and what branch of the service were you in?

Do you plan on getting out at 20 years or staying for as long as you can?

I'm gonna retire at twenty. I can, and thoughtlong and hard about, staying in longer. However, I have 5 kids at home that I have already missed too much of. Therefore, I am going to call it a day.

After my upcoming Iraqi tour I will only have 9 months left before retirement.

Air force 77 to 81, I was a firefighter.

Retired Army 75 - 94. They offered early retirement. I took it. Daughter was in a nursing home and were raising the grandson.

I still help train soldiers using battle simulations.
