Well, your tracert looks good with no loss. Is it the same computer just changing locations? Next thing to try would be to repair Internet explorer, you can do this from the add/remove programs section in the control panel.

Hmmm, that helps narrow it down to the problem not being in your laptop. Sometimes the ISP blocks or drops files but to have only the ones you uploaded blocked seems odd. Have you tried re-booting the router/ modem? Unplug both from power, plug in the modem first and wait for about 2-3 minutes then plug in your router. I will post a link to a better tracert program that will do a continuous scan to see if there's loss from the network.

This is a free trial, if you keep the .msi file you can just remove (add/remove programs)and reinstall once trial has expired.

http://www.pathanalyzer.com/download.opp

d/l the windows version, install

click "evaluate" once opened

type http://www.muleymadness.com in target box

select "continuous" in the drop down to the right of the trace button

click the trace button

This will do a continuous trace so don't leave it going for too long, 2-3 minutes should be fine.

You should see a flat red line at top, latency should be all close to the same.

Here's a screenshot.......................
my 6th hop shows hi- latency and could be a problem causing dropped packets.

I am thinking it is the router as well. I got on our desktop computer last night and it is doing the same thing my laptop is doing. I will try unpluging my wireless router tonight when I get home and see if that does anything. Thanks for all your help so far RoTun.
