Sorry, no winner.
Ok, here's what happened. I really got lucky this time. After my neighbors went back into their house, I snuck over and peaked over the fence expecting to see my arrow somewhere over there. After a few minutes looking, I could not see it anywhere, including in my yard or corral. So I decided to pack up my stuff and put away the target.

The target was back in the hay to the right of the orange wheelbarrel in which the arrow hit.

When I walked by the wheelbarrel, look what I saw. The arrow tip was about 6" from my atv tire.

What I saw flying into the air must have been mud from the horses hoof when they started bucking and running from the loud bang when the arrow hit the metal. :))
Needless to say, I dodged a big bullet on that one and will be finding a new shooting spot.

DANG.

And most people think that an arrow can't kill big game. It's amazing how much energy an arrow has.

Now for the big question. What shape was the arrow in?

Glad to hear that nothing too serious happened. It's good to have a good scare vs. a nasty accident.

Haaa that is funny I hope you toss that arrow. It could be fouled now andI would not risk shooting it with a high performance bow.
