Yep they had to expand their search from two miles to sixty miles to find some comps. The one that they found had two less acres and a quarter of the water shares. When they looked up how much it sold for that last time it was almost 800K.
The market around here is just crazy and if this land wasn't family land there is no way that we could afford to build a house here.
When I was a kid my dad tried to sell half of the farm for a thousand dollars and acre and everybody laughed at him and told him that he was crazy to think that people would ever pay that much for that land.
