A Prediction

Post by paladin » Mon Feb 21, 2011 4:00 pm

I think that a certain tribe in western Libya will try to get rid of Qadaffi by interrupting Libian oil production causing speculators to drive the price of crude oil up thus causing the price of gasoline to soar, soon. Very soon. I hope that I am wrong.

My take on what is going on in the Middle East:

It will be the end of Al Qaeda or "all" extremist Muslims or the entire Middle East...

Depends on what the citizens of these countries want for their future. If they choose to follow the likes of Iran, even though they are having their own protests, it will lead to the end of the "Arab" world as we know it.

Google "calihpate" and you will know why I say this. Otherwise, it is the end of life as we know it.

Think WWIII.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Yesterday, I filled up every vehicle that I own, and every gas can. Gas went up 4 cents between the first and second trip to the station.

As for the oil prices... I think all their turmoil is just an excuse to rise prices. It's not like the oil companies are nearing any shortage of money.

Why have our prices gone up so much when we only get 2% of our oil from Lybia?

Answers:
1. Oil company greed (how much is a gallon/liter of gas in the UE)
2. Speculators
3. And the biggeest reason: As a nation we will gripe, moan, whine, complain, dork, snivel and wimperabout the price of gas. Then we will pull our vehicles up to the pump (grab a tube of KY) and fill it up. Until we as a nation prove to the oil companies that they need us more than we need them we will continue to get gouged at the pump.
