Honestly never tried it, but seems like one more thing to worry about for me. I already have to much gear.

I prefer this, clips on end of hat. Lightweight, couldn't even feel mine and worked like a charm.

I had one of those and every time I got back to the truck or home I would take it off and set it some where and then forget it the next time out. I like this because it is always on my back pack shoulder straps as it gets dark I just flip it up and turn it on.

Do you have there newest invention, the RF-Hook Up. What do you think of that? I dont have one But I think I will buy it and try it.
