thnks, yes i have muley's and whitetail year round. we have desert muledeer and they do not migrate like they do in the western states. if ya got'em then u got'em. we are working with the state biologist to improve the muledeer specific habitat that we have and also to cull does. we have to do a 15% reduction this year so we will find out how many muley does we will have to kill after the browse survey this october. we have tons of whitetail also. the muledeer stay up top for the most part with the whitetail staying down in the creek bed. it's pretty neat. last weekend i had 15 muledeer up on the top one afternoon and drove down in the creek and saw 5 whitetail. i like the diversity plus it enables us to be able to kill more deer every year. we should get a dozen or so muley doe tags, we can take two muley bucks total, 10 whitetail does, and three or four whitetail bucks this year. we have an age min on bucks withe 6 1/2yrs on muleys and 5 1/2 yrs on whitetail. we have to log all our deer for the state along with browse surveys and several different deer surveys.
