Trapping Photos.
Trapping Photos.
We have been busy trying to thin out predators on our farm.
This is our favorite coon set. It's a 5 gallon bucket concealed in a cubby. Using a 220 conibear at the entrance. We bait it with sardines in oil. I like to use oil over water so the rain won't wash it away as easy.

Cool, are you messing with any pelts? What other kinds of critters are you getting. I used to trap when I was a kid. Fun stuff.------SS

The coon pelts are worth 3-5 dollars green. The possums aren't worth skinning at .50 cents. The yotes are worth 10-12 skinned, fleshed and stretched.

K-B, We are loving it. Colorado outlawed trapping with leg hold, conibears & snares back in 1992. I have missed it sorely.
