CC hits are rolling in!!

Post by JDavid » Wed May 15, 2013 6:37 am

I thought I would get everyone excited this morning. A buddy's and mine have been charged for our dedicated hunter tags!
I hope everyone has a good year this year.
Is someone with 10 million dollars any happier than someone with 9 million?

Looks like general deer for me. Missed out on Colorado this year too.

General muzzleloader deer for my brother, dad, uncle, and me. Should be fun.
Nothing on the LE elk, LE deer, or OIAL moose that were also on the application... bummer, try again next year. I'm almost relieved on the elk, put in for Cache, North early rifle & after hearing all the statements made during the Wildlife Board Meeting about the poor hunter satisfaction and concern by the locals... I would have been very tempted to turn that tag back in. One of the Wildlife Board members went so far as to say that he feels like "we're issuing sasquatch tags for that unit."

I wasn't aware of the N. Cache doing so poorly... That probably explains why it is fairly easy to draw a tag with relatively low points..

It looks like a drew a muzzy deer tag for the Cache General and my wife drew her first rifle tag for the same unit! I think my hunt will be more of a scouting trip so I can hopefully find a good buck for her :)

Word on the street is that they are updating your points on the DWR site.
Live to hunt, hunt to live.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell
the difference.

My buck deer points have been updated to 0! Confirms I'll be hunting bucks on the Book Cliffs in Oct. Can't wait!

Here you go Brett. http://wildlife.utah.gov/dwr/hunting/32 ... nting.html

Look under "report harvest info. and see harvest data"

Mine has been updated. I'll be hunting general season deer and elk this year.
There's always next year
