It's very important for sportsman to oppose any transfer of public land to the state or sale of it. Write your representatives on a county, state, and federal level. When you talk to your representatives mention you're against it, and don't vote for those who support this terrible idea. The state can't handle managment and will sale our favorite hunting and fishing holes. Federal agencies are no where near perfect, but pathways already exist to fix these issues. Everyone needs to get involved in improving managment but the land transfer is not the answer.
