Nonya, Again good job! Those jumbos look huge. How big do the Walleye get in your area? any 10 pounders?

NONYA -- At what point to the Walleye get "soft", weight wise? I've eaten many many of them, mostly in the 2-3lb range. The meat is firm, and tasty, I just wondered if the bigger ones got that "fat" taste, like a Lake Trout or the bigger Strippers. The Strippers have the problem of the dark stripe down along the middle, that tastes very strong. Also, as the water gets warmer does the meat get stronger.

By the way, nice bunch of fish....

Thanks, Mike
