Halibut!

Post by Idahohunter » Sat Jun 09, 2007 3:38 pm

Me and the wife went on a halibut trip down to Homer, AK. It was a lot of fun, until the storm started to move in and the sea started to get rough. Good trip, we both limited out. I am wearing my green camo gortex and my wife wore my desert gortex.

We didn't have time to stop and fish for Kings at Anchor Point. When I booked my charter it was a combo Halibut/Kings, but after everyone got their Halibut the seas were too bad and half of the folks on the boat were sea sick. So it was decieded not to go after the Kings. The Capt. said that the Kings are late this year and not too many folks were catching them when I was there.
