Took the boys fishing this weekend

Post by AGCHAWK » Sun Jun 24, 2007 7:36 pm

I took my two youngest boys out fishing on the Snake this weekend. Nothing overly exciting or anything, just dunking some worms for Bass and Perch.

The boys had a BLAST though....and I did too. We landed about 40 fish or so in the 4 hours we were out there, kept a couple and released the rest, and had a great Bass fry that night. Thought I would share a few pics.

awsome, hawk!!! love to see it when people get their kids involved!! looks like they had a blast! funny how when your young a little fish is just as exciting as a big salmon to us older adults. makes you really think that the kids REALLY know what its all about!

Thanks guys! I love getting out on the river and relaxing with the little ones. Boy, it was hot though...and my back got burned to a crisp!

Yea Killer, the littlest one would go nuts every time he got a bite. I sure wish I was a kid again sometimes!

Of course, it was a chore keeping him near his pole. He was just as excited to throw rocks at birds, play with a dead carp on the bank, and catch bugs....typical 4 year old boy I suppose.
