cracks in my dogs foot-- any ideas???????

so my lab has a crack in the pad on his foot, it looks pretty painful he dont like walking on them to much, does anybody have any ideas on what i could put on them to make them heal faster?????????

Tried bag-balm? That is what they use on cows utters when they get cracked. My dad uses it on his hands because he operates my families carwash and his hands are always all dried out.

The absolute best product I've found for dog injuries is called EMT gel. It's awesome stuff.

Make sure the wound is cleaned really well. You might want to wrap the wound with a sock and some vet wrap too.
