My summer project. (warning lots of pics)

Post by a_bow_nut » Thu Jul 26, 2007 5:43 pm

Here is the biggest reason that I've not been able to get my cameras out or do any scouting this summer. #-o

It all started this spring. When we finaly got the go ahead to start building our house.

Digging the trenches for the power, water, phone, and gas.

Then we went on vacation to New York. But when we got back things were kicked into high gear.

Working on the foundation and getting ready to tar and backfill.

Once it was back filled we had the house pulled up next to the foundation.

YEP I'LL BE LIVING IN A BIG OL DOUBLE WIDE TRAILER AND PROUD OF IT.

Image

Set up crew getting ready to roll the house over the foundation to set it down.

Image

Setting the house down and getting the roof propped up and nailed into place.

Image

Both sides set and roof almost all seamed together.

A qiuck look inside while they are seaming together the interior.

If all goes well we will be done in about two weeks and we will start moving in the week after that. [-o<

If not the following week is the start of the archery hunt so the wife will have to do it herself. :thumb

Yeah right. :))

I always wondered how they got the houses onto the foundation like that. Thanks for sharing. I also feel your pain. I just moved into a new house at the 1st of june and I still can't see any light at the end of the tunnel, when it comes to projects to do. Congrats
There's always next year

Cool pics, I'd be happy there also. Looks like work, but easier than building the whole thing.

I'll give you ONE summer off on the Trail Cams, no more. :))

Very cool!

Who cares if it's a trailer! You're living in the freaking awesome mountains and WAY close to some great hunting grounds!!!

Well done.
